  2. Set up your event using the Guided Wizard or Quick Start. Choose your event type, date, and location.
  3. Build your checklist from a template or from scratch. Track tasks on a kanban board with due dates. See Checklist Guide.
  4. Set your budget with estimated costs per category. Log actual expenses as you go and track payment milestones. See Budget Tracker and Payment Schedule.

  8. Plan your seating with the drag-and-drop canvas or list view. See Seating Planner.
  9. Store documents like contracts, floor plans, and mood boards alongside your event. See Documents.

Tip: Start in Focused mode if you want a simpler interface. You can switch to Advanced mode at any time from Settings > Features to unlock every feature. See Onboarding for details.

Use Cases

Dream Planner works for events of all sizes and types:

  • Wedding Planning — Manage large guest lists, coordinate multiple vendors across categories, track complex multi-category budgets, plan table seating for hundreds of guests, and keep every detail organised across months of planning.
  • Corporate Events — Track attendees, manage AV and catering vendors, handle structured departmental budgets, and coordinate logistics for conferences, team away-days, and company celebrations.
  • Birthday Parties — Keep smaller events simple and organised with streamlined guest lists, focused budgets, and just the vendors you need.
